Jeffrey was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) Louisiana State University and graduated from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA with a Ph: "Scriabin's Transpositional Testaments: a diachronic approach to Alexander Scriabin's late miniatures. Currently an adjunct professor of music theory, Kennesaw State University. Jeffrey has received numerous awards and grants in music teaching, research and creative writing, Reviewer for the Journal of Musicological Research USA, President of the South Central Music Theory Society, and Member of the Undergraduate Research Task Force. Author of numerous articles on music theory research published in European and U.S. journals.
