Theosophical seminars are becoming relevant and in demand not only by Theosophists of different countries, but also by all who are interested in the development of consciousness.
205 participants joined the online broadcast: the Moscow school of theosophy, members of the Lodges of the Theosophical society of Russia – the "Light of Truth" Lodge, the "Anahata" Lodge, the "Garuda" Lodge, the "Om - Tara" Lodge, the "Blavatsky Lodge", the "Adamant" Lodge, Theosophists and the Theosophical public from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Orenburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Kemerovo, Omsk, Voronezh, Saratov, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Belgorod, Sochi, Tambov, Altai and many other regions of the Russian Federation.
There were foreign participants from Estonia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, France, the United States, Australia, Great Britain, the Philippines, Singapore, India, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Morocco, Indonesia, Greece and other countries.
The Seminar was opened by
U. S. Pandey – International speaker of the Theosophical society, National lecturer of the Indian section, President of the Uttar Pradesh and Uttahkaranda Federation (India). He shared scientific and practical understanding of meditation, spoke about conscious meditation – preparation, obstacles, results, acquainted with some of the conclusions of modern scientific research.
Simon Webber - Theosophical society of New Zealand (Wellington Lodge) revealed the subject from the Theosophical point of view, his story was about the superphysical aspect, about duality, about the key to understanding that H. p. Blavatsky gave us. What is classical meditation, and meditation from a psychological point of view.
Luke Michael Ironside – Theosophical society of the Philippines (Morocco) told participants about what meditation is and what meditation is not, whether meditation is beneficial on a physical, mental, or spiritual levels.
Pavel Malakhov –Theosophical society of Russia, President of the "Light of Truth" Lodge (Kemerovo) presented his understanding of natural meditation and invited everyone to hold a concentration session together.
Chally Romero is the President of the Theosophical society of the Philippines. We learned about the art and discipline of meditation, about what abilities meditation develops in a person. How renunciation, the lower and higher Self are connected with the practice of meditation.
Annie Kelly – Theosophical society of England (Great Britain) shared her experience of mastering meditation. How to get to the state of meditation? How to overcome obstacles? How to stop the "chatter" of the Mind? Privation and acquisition, rejection of selfishness and low manifestations of personality, diagram of meditation by H. P. Blavatsky
Vicente Hao Chin – Theosophical society in the Philippines. He told about the experience of conducting General meditations, that Mahatma Kuthumi and H. P. Blavatsky wrote about meditation. He presented the scheme of the levels of consciousness, as well as various traditions of meditation and introduced the universal technique.
Vladimir Yaryi – Theosophical society of Russia, President of the Lodge "Adamant" (Moscow), told what precedes meditation, about the nature of the Mind. He presented the symbolism of the Wheel of Time, the state of the meditative Mind in the six directions of Space, the expansion of consciousness and the exit from the Wheel of Sansara.
Evgenia Shaburnikova – Theosophical society of Russia, Vice-President of the Lodge "adamant" (Moscow), shared her understanding of meditation as the basis of Penetration. How penetration is related to Ether, the dodecahedron symbol. The seven qualities of action are related to the Seven Planes of Being. Mahatma Moriya on meditation and thinking.
The topic of meditation was covered by the speakers from different aspects, practically each of the speakers shared their spiritual experience.
As the practice of conducting Theosophical seminars with distinguished speakers has shown, each topic can be covered for a whole year or more, and it is possible to find new and new facets of understanding. We hope that for the participants of the seminar the presented topics will be continued in their independent work with Theosophical material.
The Seminar wasmoderated by Eugene Shabournikova who summed up the seminar: "Theosophical knowledge enters the world with confidence, having a scientific basis, it has the ability to answer any question, to explain any phenomenon from a new point of view. This knowledge of the One Cause is given in the Secret Doctrine. There is a proposal to start studying and discussing the Secret Doctrine by H. P. Blavatsky together with our speakers in September. By learning the One Cause together, we can apply this knowledge to ourselves, in our everyday life, and it will be a great practice."
The joint meeting of foreign and Russian Theosophists ended with a video about the Competition of Russian cities for the right to host the International Theosophical Congress.

This experience of interaction with society was undertaken by Russian Theosophists for the first time. There were no analogues in the world.
During the preparation of the Competition, an Expert Council was created, which included 8 Lodges of the Russian Federation, Regulations and evaluation Criteria were developed. More than 10 Russian cities have declared and proved their right to host the International Theosophical Congress. For the first time, an open popular vote was held, and three cities won a majority: Voronezh, the winner of the Competition, where the Congress will be held in November 2020, Sochi – the Congress in 2021, Nizhny Novgorod – in 2022, and Moscow, the capital of Russia, will meet the Seventh International Theosophical Congress in 2023.
We will be waiting for all participants of the Seminar as speakers and guests in all the beautiful cities of Russia – Voronezh, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow!
